In this episode, Anthony and Nikki introduce a case study catch up session. Today's case study involves a parent concerned with her daughter's field position in travel softball. Even if it's not your sport we think you might find a nugget in this one as we cover communication, guest playing, new teams and culture. Lots to unpack in a short(er) episode today! Would love to know your take as well as any topics for future case study catch ups...don't worry we'll keep it anonymous!

In this episode, we recap Eddie the Eagle from Anthony's point of view. He has a bone to pick with Nikki, accusing her of underselling the emotional piece of the movie. We also talk about the idea of how parents can be good teammates to their own kids, coaches, refs, other kids. Allowing space for a growth mindset and trying to be better every day in this area, we think, will have a positive impact on the game as a whole. Parents have a role. Let's start that conversation!
