In this episode, we catch up with Chef Lily and her mom, Colette. In 2020, Lily and her mom started their Instagram page (ChefLilyRocks) to spread Lily's joy of cooking, sports, and positivity to the world. Lily (an 11-year-old out of Bel Air, Maryland) is well known for her delicious brownies for humans and special dog treats for our beloved four-legged friends. Listen in as we catch up with Lily about her thoughts on youth sports, nutrition for athletes, and the success of her soccer team (Old Line Majestics), who were recently named #1 in the country. Mark Cavendish is a retired , British, professional cyclist who has many accolades including holding the record for most stage wins at the Tour de France (35), achieved across 15 Tours and 17 years (2008-2024). The documentary pulls the curtain back on how hard the life of a professional athlete can be, provides insight into the mental & physical toll, the impact of a coach, and how those supporting in the journey can feel. It can either inspire you to push for more (Nikki) or feel pretty good about where you're at (Anthony). Which side are you on?

The Coaches
Anthony is a sports enthusiast. You will find him passionately cheering on the Baltimore Orioles, Ravens, and the Calvert Hall Cardinals. You will also find Anthony on the sideline coaching his own kid's teams. He is on many different boards trying to help strengthen his community wherever he can. His ultimate goal is to raise good humans.
Nikki is also a sports enthusiast cheering on her home teams (O's, Ravens, Maryland Terps) but who also just really appreciates a good game, no matter the sport. You'll also find her on the sideline coaching her own kids sports but Nikki also coaches teams her kids are not a part of ranging from day care to college. Nikki owns her own mindset coaching business for athletes, coaches, organizations to help give them strength for their journey.
Nikki and Anthony are friends with different backgrounds coming together to shine a light on a topic or two each podcast, with space for guests, to share their experience. The goal is to provide a space within the sports world to come together and help each other in the hard.
